The Call for Proposals for the 20th ISCR Annual Conference 2027 is now OPEN

We are thrilled to announce the commencement of the call for proposals for the 20th ISCR Annual Conference. This conference serves as a premier platform for clinicians, researchers, and industry professionals to share insights and exchange ideas to enhance India's success in clinical research unifying Innovation, Technology and Patient Centricity.

Call for Proposals: We invite you to submit proposals that align with the conference theme. Proposals should be engaging and thought-provoking and focused on providing practical insights, research findings, and strategies in alignment with the theme. Proposals should feature forward-thinking approaches that emphasize innovation, diversity, and the integration of the patient voice to revolutionize clinical research practices and strengthen India's research ecosystem. Submissions must offer effective and implementable solutions to current challenges, clearly demonstrating how they harness future potential, emerging opportunities, and scalable strategies to drive progress.

Proposals are sought for the following areas of interest.

Format proposed: 15 minute lecture followed by panel discussion focused on delivering structured, expert-driven content on a specific topic

  • Clinical Operations
  • Bioethics & Regulatory
  • Clinical Data Management
  • Medical Writing
  • Biostatistics & Statistical Programming
  • Pharmacovigilance (PV)
  • Real World Evidence (RWE) & Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)
  • Academic Clinical Research
  • Early Clinical Development
  • Using AI/ML: Proposal focusing on practical aspect/experience of using AI/ML for any of the above areas*

* Please specify if your proposal should be considered as part of the AI/ML session within the chosen track

Submission Guidelines and Specifications for Proposals:

  • Title: Feature a compelling title to engage attendees. ISCR reserves the right to edit titles for clarity or alignment with overall program themes
  • Abstract: Summarize the content of your proposal in ≤300 words. Identify Current challenge: the immediate problem & suggested solution Opportunity: the emerging trend, capability, or future potential that makes this a timely intervention
  • Format: Word document or PowerPoint presentation
  • Avoid vague claims: include metrics, case outcomes, or pilot results where possible.
  • Practical takeaways: Provide practical applications, such as case studies or demonstrations.
  • Be non-promotional and objective: avoiding endorsements of products, services, or organizations
  • AI proposals: Proposals generated wholly or substantially by artificial intelligence tools will not be accepted. AI detection tools will be used to identify proposals that contain AI generated content

Duration: Indicate the preferred duration of your presentation (maximum 15 mins for individual presentations. Note: duration may be less, vary in different tracks).

Storyline: In addition to the abstract, provide 2-3 slides presentation that summarizes the content of your presentation.

  • Present innovative, cutting-edge concepts or recent advancements in the field. new developments related to the topic
  • Promote fresh solutions to industry challenges.
  • Define the target audience with clear learning objectives.
  • Encourage interactive participation between speakers and the audience.

Speaker Bio: Include a brief biography highlighting your qualifications and expertise.

We invite proposals for individual presentations aligned with the conference theme. This will provide an opportunity for researchers, practitioners, and professionals to showcase their work, share insights, and contribute to the overall conference objectives.

Incomplete proposals will not be considered; failure to meet any of the above requirements will result in disqualification.

Sessions will be designed and decided by the individual track committees and SOC from the selected proposals.

Submission of a proposal is not a confirmation in any way for a speaker slot in the conference, nor does it guarantee inclusion in the final agenda of the conference.

The decision of Scientific Organising Committee (SOC) will be final. No more than one participant from the same company may be included in any single session

Deadline for proposal submission: 30th June 2026
Communication to selected speakers: 30th August 2026
Deadline for submitting final presentations (PPTs): 30th October 2026

ISCR reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals without providing any reasons for the same.

The selected proposals will ensure that the conference offers a comprehensive and nonpromotional scientific program that meets the objectives and guiding principles of ISCR. Proposals that clearly describe innovative and cutting-edge work in the field of clinical research and are around the theme of the conference will receive the highest priority in the selection process. Previously presented and published abstracts must be properly acknowledged by providing the citation to that abstract.

Topic: Relevance, Importance, Value, and/or Interest to Clinical Research Community
Quality of Submission: Quality, Content, Clarity, and Depth of Demonstrated Understanding of the Topic
Inter-disciplinary: Submissions demonstrating inter-disciplinary thinking that address real-world challenges are especially welcome.
Priority: Priority will be given to proposals offering engaging, unconventional approaches to content delivery, particularly those presenting evidence-based methodologies or real-life case studies to support their solutions and demonstrate tangible impacts in alignment with the conference theme
